Your data. Your call, on when it goes away.
If you completed a verification through RealCompany.Ai, or a business you work with uses us to verify people, here's exactly what we hold and how to get it deleted.
1What we actually collect
A verification session can include: the ID document you submitted, a selfie or short liveness clip used to match against it, and the pass/fail result of that match. We don't collect this to build a profile on you, it exists to answer one question once: is this a real person, and are they who they say they are.
2Two ways deletion gets triggered
- You, directly. If you were the one verified, you can request deletion of your own verification data at any time, no account or support ticket needed.
- The business, programmatically. Companies using RealCompany.Ai can delete or redact a user's verification data on request through our API, the same promise we make on our Security page.
Request your data be deleted
Text or email us with the phrase "delete my data" and the email or phone number you verified with. We'll confirm your identity, then process the request.
3What happens next
Once a deletion request is confirmed, we delete or irreversibly redact the underlying document images, selfie/biometric match data, and session artifacts. This is typically completed within 30 days.
4Businesses using our API
If you're a platform customer, deletion is available programmatically through the API, the same mechanism your own end users can trigger, so you can build "delete my data" into your own product without opening a ticket with us.
This page describes our current data deletion practices in plain language and isn't a substitute for our full Privacy Policy or Terms once published. Questions about a specific verification or a deletion request in progress: contact us.
